Opening times

We are open from 9.00am until 3.30pm from Monday – Thursday, all year round. In April you will see the orchard in blossom, then the herbaceous borders kick in through to the autumn. Our huge Wisteria flowers around late May. There will be less (but some) colour in winter but you will be welcome whenever you visit and lots of guests enjoy seeing how the colours change during the year.

Groups

We may be able to open outside of these times for groups, by appointment, so if you would like to organise a group of 10 or more people to visit, please get in touch.

Small requests

We of course welcome you to take your time, but we don’t allow people to bring in food, drinks, or a picnic rug. Well-behaved dogs and children are welcome; dogs must be on leads at all times and any mess cleared up and taken home. This is a private home so please stay within the walled garden, please don’t venture beyond.

Where are we?

Find us at Langham Hall Walled Garden, Langham Hall, Langham, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. IP31 3EE.

The easiest thing to do is search for us on your map app on your phone. Alternatively, head for Langham (Bury St Edmunds / Suffolk, not Langham in Essex) then keep your eye out for the signed entrance to the car park, next to Redgate Stud. Please don’t go up the drive to Langham Hall.

We have ample parking and look forward to welcoming you to our special garden.

Entry fee

To help us maintain the walled garden, there is a £3 entrance fee for visitors over 12 years of age, except for the garden festival where the fee is higher. Please bring some coins for this as we can’t take card payments.
